Batteries
Draining in an hour or not charging at all. A new battery, fitted and health-tested.
Hinges and cases
The screen coming away from the keyboard, or cracked and broken plastics. Often worth repairing rather than replacing the laptop.
Keyboards and trackpads
Keys that don’t register, sticky or missing keys, and trackpads that have stopped clicking.
Memory and storage
More RAM or a solid-state drive, plus honest advice on what will actually make yours faster.
Slow, overheating or won’t start

A clear price before we touch it, usually the same day. You say yes, or you don’t.

Get it to us
Drop it off, have us collect it in West London, or post it in from anywhere in the UK.
Pay after the repair, by bank transfer or cash. Nothing upfront.
The promise
No fix, no fee.
- You agree a price first. If we can’t fix the fault we agreed it for, you pay nothing for the repair.
- If you decide not to go ahead once you’ve heard the price, you pay nothing.
- The one exception is a part we’ve ordered specially at your request that can’t be sent back. We tell you before ordering anything, and you agree it first.
- Any other fault we find is quoted separately, and never done without your say-so.
What we don’t do
Board-level and microsoldering repairs, such as a damaged chip on the motherboard or a soldered charging port. If that’s what your device needs, we’ll tell you straight away, before you spend anything.
Common questions.
My laptop screen is completely black. Can it still be fixed?
Often, yes. A black screen can be the panel, the cable inside the lid, or something else, so we test it before quoting, for example by connecting it to a monitor. If the laptop itself is fine, a new panel is the usual fix.
Will I lose my files if you replace the screen or battery?
No, those repairs don’t touch your files. As with any repair, back up anything important first if you can, and tell us if you can’t.
Do you repair every make of laptop?
We work on all the common makes, and we’ll tell you straight away if yours is one we can’t do. Some newer, thinner models are harder to open, and that’s reflected in the price, not hidden in it.
Should I repair it or replace it?
We’ll tell you honestly. If the repair costs more than the laptop is worth, we’ll say so rather than take the job.

Amazing experience, I called them at 12:30 they were with me at 13:00 my computer was not launching even after using chatgbt and online solution methods I could not crack it - the guys got it running after 30 mins and charged me the most reasonable price know. My wife’s Lenovo laptop had a broken hinge so that the screen was coming away from the keyboard. I thought it might be a write off but after Sammi quoted me a very reasonable price I took it to him for repair. He obtained some parts and repaired it.
