What affects the price of a screen repair.
A screen is usually the priciest part of a repair, and the price swings a lot between models. Here’s what actually drives the cost, and how to get a real number for yours.
What changes the cost.
The model
The screen itself is usually the most expensive part in the device, and that cost is set by the manufacturer, not by us. A common phone screen and a rare laptop panel are not the same money.
The screen type
An OLED display generally costs more to replace than an LCD one. Curved or edge-to-edge screens, and ones built into the same assembly as other parts, add to the job too.
Genuine or aftermarket
Where there’s a choice, we’ll tell you the difference in price and what you get for it, so it’s your call, not a hidden upgrade.
What else has to come apart
Some devices are a straightforward swap. Others need the battery, cameras or fingerprint sensor moved across from the old screen, which adds time.
How fast you need it
Standard, or priority where we fetch the part in person and do it the same day. Priority costs more because of the extra trip.
No price list
We won’t guess a number here.
A price list would either lowball the rare models or overcharge the common ones, so we don’t keep one. Tell us the make and model and you’ll have a real price, usually the same day.

Common questions.
Why is a screen so much more than other repairs?
Because the part itself costs the most. A battery or a charging port is a relatively cheap component; a screen is usually the single most expensive part in the whole device.
Can you give me a price without seeing the device?
We can give you a price once we know the exact make and model, and sometimes the crack pattern too, since that affects whether the touch layer or backlight is also damaged. That’s usually a two-minute conversation, and the price is confirmed once we’ve checked it.
Will a cheaper screen work just as well?
Often it’s fine for everyday use. Sometimes a cheaper part means dimmer colour, less accurate touch, or a slightly different fit. We’ll tell you honestly which applies to your device before you decide.
Is it ever not worth fixing the screen?
Yes, if the repair costs close to what the device is worth, or if there’s other damage too. We’ll say so rather than take the job. See our guide on repairing versus replacing.
